A seedling Dance and Physical Theatre Company for 10 - 18 yr olds.
A rare opportunity to explore acting, theatre and movement ideas. Find new creative ways to develop yourself as a young artist. Inspire and be inspired by professionals. Find like minded creative people your own age. Create an original voice. Work and play outside the mainstream.
Who is this for?
This project is for 10 -18 years old with an interest or passion for theatre and movement. No experience necessary, but a participants should come with a positive attitude, enthusiasm and be ready to try new things.

How much is it?
Free.
What’s involved?
A commitment to a group which meets for 2 hours weekly, for fun, skills, rehearsals and performance opportunities.
Group will begin i n October 2018

Ruth Janssen - Dancer / Teacher
For 15 years Ruth danced professionally with some of Britain's leading dance makers, touring extensively nationally and internationally, and had work toured with dance and theatre companies in Britain and Italy, India and China, Malta and Finland. Ruth has worked for theatre companies Scottish Dance Theatre, Dundee Rep Ensemble, Mad Dogs Dance Theatre, Scarlattine Teatro and Gravity & Levity amoung others. As a dance and yoga teacher, Ruth has taught several professional dance companies regular company class including Scottish Dance Theatre and Phoenix Dance Theatre, and also guest lectured for vocational dance schools.
Ruth is seeking to bring support and fun to familes with children through movement, music, dance and yoga.
Ruth is a mum of two small children and will do anything for a cuppa and a wee sit down

Marco Mazza - Dancer / Actor / Teacher
Marco Mazza trained in italy at the Viartisti theatre school.
He studied dance, singing and acting. Over the years has worked with different theatre and dance companies including Jean Laurent Sasportes (Pina Bausch company), Duccio Bellugi Vannuccini (Theatre du soleil), Mauro Piombo (Commedia dell'arte), site specific performances with French company Ilotopie.
Marco's interests in performance extend to outreach and community work, collaborating with various associations dealing with immigration and homlessness.
Marco founded and directed the two physical theatre companies Tecnologia Filosofica and Quarta Scimmia with whom he has developed his artistic style.
